Disney’s ART of ANIMATION
As we know, Disney animation is a beautiful dream for every child, also for me. I like Disney when I am a little girl, I like different story and character, watching animation make me happy. This is main reason why I choose animation this major in my BA(of course, I like graphic design now). When I studied animation, I will research all story’s background, why the animator have this idea and created this character, I always thought about for this. Mickey Mouse is my favorite animation, not only this is a good story, but also every character was very vividly, make people happy. The background of this story is that, one day, a little mouse come to the desk eat some bread when Walt drawning, but Walt not kill it, just play with it. The little mouse was very cute, has many different expression, such as happy, sad, nevous etc. So Walt imitated it different face, this is the inspiration of created this animation. This book name is <Disney’s ART of ANIMATION>, by Bob Thomas. Mickey Mouse: Submit: The three survivors of the Walt Disney organization had to act fast — and secretly. Walt was obligated to produce three more Oswald cartoons, and the defecting animators would be remaining at the studio for three months. Walt worked up a story line that capitalized on the nation’s passion for Charles Lindbergh. Ub began animating Plane Crazy in a locked room, surrounded by random sketches. If anyone knocked on the door, he quickly covered up his real work and substituted bogus drawings so the intruder could not see the character that lay aborning on his workbench. Mickey Mouse was nothing very new; in fact, he bore a strong resemblance to Oswald. Except for the ears. While Oswald’s were long and floppy, Mickey’s were perfectly round, sitting atop his head. So, Mickey Mouse was created in a very difficult environment. But have an alarming effect, everyone like it very much, whatever old people or children, become a part of their life pleasure. My favorite painter is Irina, she comes from Russia, she was good at drawn some plant, her work was very clean, complex, exaggerate… I like this style, and I always copy her work. In my next work, I will put some lovely character and graphic design togther. Through this class, I understand that what aspects the graphic design involves, and what form should I show my work.
